Documentary about the acting Reich Protector Reinhard Heydrich directed by Karel Maršálek. Life, events, assassination, consequences. Nothing cheerful, but definitely worth watching.

Even in the era of the internet and information overload, this cinematically refined, carefully composed portrait offers a number of lesser-known facts. It is set to music, references Heydrich's relationship with music, and was filmed in the 1980s. To what extent is it, or is it not, dutiful to the time of its creation? Does it overstate the importance of the wartime communist resistance? Make up your own mind.

The screening as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Operation Anthropoid in Prague 8 will be accompanied by an expert introduction provided by Libeňský svět – the centre of Libeň history and culture.
